Time to truly say goodbye… with my heart & mind.

You know, the time has finally come.
You know, I really need to get over you.
You know, I really wouldn’t call it love.
you know, this is something, i must do.

You swept me off my feet,
you melted my frozen heart,
but I can’t hold onto you…
we’re just too darn far apart….

So, I’m letting you go with a smile.
I can’t keep holding onto this.

but now, i release you, in happy bliss.

I’m laughing at my girlieness,
for taking so long to release you..

But, you know, it was more the idea of,
clinging to the man who changed my life…
but, hey, there’s 6 billion people,
i’m sure i’ll find another guy sometime…

but, it’s time for me to at least try…
