Who are you?… you reading this now…

12 Dec

Who are you?
you, reading this now?..
yes, you by your computer…
I’ll probably never find out…

I write poem after poem,
as i have for years,
& post them anonymously,
as if, someone, may care…

What if I’ve met you in person?
maybe passed you on the street?
& we walked right past each other,
with neither of us knowing?

later that night, you are right here,
reading my secret thoughts, crystal clear…
and many a time, some little line,
i will think of later & change my life…

This website means too much to me.
poetry is the language of my heart.
i read yours & it inspires me…
so thank you for sharing that art.

So many of you, are so very very brave!
you are even so bold as to post your true name.
And I aspire someday, to do the same thing…
but until then, thank you for everything…

for the encouragement in comments
even the little uplifting ‘likes’
they genuinely mean so much to me…
& thank you, for sharing little bits of your lives.

even if i have never met you,
I realize, many of you live off, far
but, writing has a living source
& i do, often wonder who & how you are?

a little poem dedicated to all the great blogs/poetry sites i read & visit. as well as all of you who visit my site. Thank you so much. It’s amazing the difference having my writing acknowledged has made on my confidence in myself & in my poetry. Not to over-do this. but really guys. thanks for coming to my site.
in particular, i really enjoy the following blogs:
-     Francios Bergh’s poetry is probably the best poetry i’ve ever read & really enjoy. He is so talented. I aspire to have the depth, diversity, & truling chilling talent he possesses.

- (really cute stories, posted by two twins who write the site together =)

-, ‘thoughts on life’… short, sweet, & so worth the moment.

- by Michael… a very inspirational website i go to. beware, you can get lost in this one, there’s so many great posts! but what a great place to get lost in! by “tale of my heart” … always has these really interesting posts, poems, songs & stuff. that i just find really enlightening & full of diversity.… interesting, (mostly short) poems. also has a good diversity, great tagging job. i wish i kept my categories so simple =)

- Glitter the air is able to make a poem of any & everything. i loved following this site through their poetry challenge. & now, still

- a new website. his stuff is very nicely flowing poetry. it’s more deep poems that will keep me thinking for hours later about it… so, not exactly the bubblegum stuff, but it’s intensely well written.

- some extremely deep & very talented poetry. She weaves mind-blowing analogies together quite often. I encourage anyone who likes poetry a lot to check it out. (especially her poem called “The Hope”…

- … joanna has this awesome style where she mixes photos/pictures/clipart in with her poetry to emphasize her points. i mean, a lot of photos. but it really works for her & she has that raw talent you cant train. it’s great now, & i expect it will only continue getting better & better as she goes!

-  …intriguing poetry. The kind you just can’t stop thinking about, even hours after reading it. the ones you can’t figure out, but always can relate to. A great site to browse if you’re into poetry.

- Deciembrenieve, really seems to investigate the simplest of concepts with interesting, not so common twists. i enjoy browsing this site.

& there are so many others i really enjoy. i can’t remember who’s site i was on the other day,,, but, you get the idea. thanks so much to you all. =)

You are most welcome. I love reading your little blog entries. They are such a delight to read, especially this one. It was very sweet of you. And I want to thank you to take the time to read mine as well. Like you, I love to write. My mother often criticize my grammar but I don’t care. I mean, I know it needs work but I figure the more I write the better I’ll be. Having people acknowledge your writing is such an awesome feeling. It shows you really do have talent. Keep up the good work.

–I don’t think I’ve ever had/heard of some-one dedicating a piece of writing like this to a group of fellow poets. This is an immensely kind gesture. My heart swells with adoration and curiosity–for now I’ve been made aware of other gifted writers with whom I can indulge. Thank you a thousand times and more.–

I have also on several occasions thought of meeting the people behind the writings – it is quite an interesting concept.

However, if we passed in the street at least one of us would know! 😀

You might also recognize me by the permanent blush that this compliment have now tattooed on my face! I am honored that you enjoyed my feeble-minded writings & you should probably know that yours are also some of my own personal favies.

    Thank you.

Well, I really do enjoy this website. I enjoy all of you participating in it. The way I see it, is that, I love the affirmation & feedback, but I could write in my journals without that… what makes it great is being able to read all of your poems/blogs & interact with you in comments on them & comments on mine.

I really do reward myself for doing laundry, or cleaning my room, doing dishes, etc, with blog time. lol. Not just because i love to write, but because i love to read all of yours. They inspire, intrigue, fascinate, encourage, enlighten & get me thinking… So glad there is this wonderful forum where all of us can interact under the umbrella of writing.

Thank you all so much for being part of my blog-life. always brings a smile =)

    The power of words
    The power of connections
    The power of interactions
